Step off Pearl Street and into Italy. Enjoy Antica Roma’s authentic Italian cuisine in a dining room designed as an Italian piazza, or on the patio on the pedestrian mall. An extensive menu of piccoli piatti (small-plate appetizers, or tapas) includes cozze guazzetto, steamed mussels in a lemon, white wine and garlic broth; bresaola, imported dry-cured beef thinly sliced, filled and rolled with a cream of artichoke and goat cheese; or vongole e fava, with Manila clams, fava beans, grape tomatoes, white wine and garlic broth. The dinner menu includes linguine vongole, frutti di mare, pollo Valdostana, cioppino, polletto diavola, and bistecca Flavia. Or try a pizza from the wood-burning oven.
