See listing under Sports Events.

Boulder B-Cycle
Boulder’s nonprofit bike-sharing system offers access to 300 bikes 24/7 at 40 stations around the city. Register at www.boulder.bcycle.com so you’re always ready when you want to ride—the tires are always inflated and there’s a handy basket on the front to carry your stuff.

Old Man Winter Bike Rally/Run
Feb. 12: Old Man Winter is an epic 50- or 100-km bike ride that happens snow or shine and takes riders on both paved and dirt roads from Lyons to Boulder and beyond. There’s also a 5.8-mile “Best of Lyons” run that’s a “frosty frolic” over trails and pavement. The post-event party features live music, contests and raffle prizes. Register at www.oldmanwinterrally.com.

WOMB: Women on Mountain Bikes
Lessons for beginners to intermediates (men and children welcome) cover topics like bike skills, safety, commuting, basic maintenance and more. WOMB also offers occasional free clinics. www.womenonbikes.com.
