Every year, June 14 is Flag Day. It’s supposed to be a celebration of the US Flag and all that it means. This year’s day of celebration is marred by the terrorist attack in Orlando, FL, on Sunday the 12th, at Pulse, a LGBT nightclub. This is the deadliest mass shooting in recent US history, and the 2nd deadliest terrorist attack, after 9/11.
We’re keeping the victims, their family and friends, the city, and the LGBT community in our thoughts.
Here are the stories of the 49 victims. In addition to those who died, 53 were wounded.
