Saddle up for 90 minutes of unforgettable stories. Banjo Billy gives history tours of Boulder and Denver from an old school bus tricked out to look like a traveling hillbilly shack. NATIONAL CENTER FOR ATMOSPHERIC RESEARCH (NCAR) PUBLIC TOURS At NCAR, you’ll find a flood of fun facts about atmospheric science, climate change, and the NCAR mesa and building. A photographic display of meteorological optics shows rainbows, lightning and dramatic light effects caused by different atmospheric conditions. Other highlights include a telescopic camera, working supercomputers, a gravity well, a science store and the Walter Orr Roberts Weather Trail. This year, the Metro Denver Home Builders Association offers something new! Instead of seeing a few homes in one place, you can see 58 homes located throughout the metro area from Loveland to Castle Rock with no tickets to buy. With homes priced from over $6 million to under $200,000, this year's Parade is anything you want it to be. If seeing luxury is what motivates you, this year’s eight Dream Homes will be right up your alley. The Dream Homes are located throughout the metro area and your $5 (or more) donation for entrance will benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
