Pearl Street Tulips By Amy Gosch

It’s August.  Time for school to start, pools to wrap up another summer season, leaves to begin their preparations for winter, and…the annual Pearl Street Tulip Giveaway!

Every year, Boulder imports tulips from Holland to design fresh beds for the first plantings.  They’re removed to make way for the future summer plantings, and stored.  They’re then handed out (for free, but donations are appreciated) in August on a first-come, first-served basis (one bag per family) to people interested in having a piece of Pearl Street!

This year it’s August 31 beginning at 10 am in front of the Boulder County Courthouse on the 1300 block of Pearl Street.
