Programs range from kids’ camps to lectures and concerts

If you’ve noticed the impressive new campus at 6007 Oreg Ave. off east Arapahoe Avenue, you’ll be just as impressed by the plentiful programs offered by the new Jewish Community Center. Boulder’s newest campus ushers in programs that range from kids’ camps and informative lectures to a diverse concert series.

The JCC raised $28.4 million from more than 800 individuals and organizations to bankroll the center’s construction and programming.

JCC offerings aren’t religious in nature, per se, says executive director Jonathan Lev. Rather, they’re akin to YMCA programming in that they’re underpinned by Jewish values but aren’t overtly faith-based. Lev says the center aims to provide a broad spectrum of high-quality programs at affordable prices to attract all demographics. He also hopes the center will be a springboard for community members to build meaningful friendships within its walls. Learn more at www.boulderjcc.org.
