Nothing quite shields off the frosty air like alcohol in the veins and maybe a good sweat. Lucky for you, Colorado’s got you covered, with plenty of handcrafted brews and tastings on the horizon.

By far the soonest of these bacchanalias is the Wintercraft Beer Festival, which takes place Saturday, March 7, 2015 at the CU Coors Events Center from 2-6pm. Tickets can be purchased in advance for $40, or $45 at the door. That ticket gives you access to seventeen Colorado breweries and more than enough liquid bread to get you through your weekend (I hope).  In addition to some of the bigger names like Fate, Elevation, and Oskar Blues, try out brews from J.J. Wells, The Post, Oasis, Tivoli, and Kokopelli.

Is sitting around drinking not active enough for you, Super-Boulderite? Fine. Clear your schedule for Saturday, March 28, and grab some tickets for Left Hand’s Hops + Handrails Festival in Longmont.

With 50 breweries, a snowboard competition, and performances by Euforquestra and Whitewater Ramble, this event is probably the most Coloradoan thing that has ever happened, and its now happening for the third time. But you won’t catch me complaining; I’ll be jamming with a cold brew in my hand. Buy tickets for Hops + Handrails here.

Riders are welcome to compete for prizes. Top chops will win a cool grand in both Women’s and Open categories. It’s not recommended to drink heavily and ride. Please. Children will be watching.

Brew on, my friends.
