The Shortlist: What To Do in Boulder: 12/2 – 12/4

Happy Thursday, Boulderites! With Black Friday and Cyber Monday behind us, and the first weekend of December ahead of us, we’ve got the holidays on our brains. Take a break from all the shopping this weekend to enjoy the ethereal holiday season.

1. The Holiday Festival Presented by The CU College of Music

Come enjoy seasonal music this weekend by CU’s choirs, orchestras, and faculty ensembles. The halls of Macky Auditorium will be beautifully decked to celebrate the holiday spirit. Be sure to buy tickets early for this favored event. All proceeds from the shows will go towards the CU Music Scholarship Fund.

2. St. Nick on the Bricks

Why not take a stroll down Pearl Street and say hello to Santa this Saturday? If you didn’t catch Jolly ol’ Saint Nicholas’ first appearance of the season last weekend, stop over and say hello on Saturday. Get your lists ready because Santa and Mrs. Claus will be at the Downtown Boulder Visitor Information Center from 11 am to 2 pm.

3. The 29th Annual Lights of December Parade

If you miss Santa on Saturday afternoon, head over to Pearl Street Saturday evening to catch him in The 29th Annual Lights of December Parade. The parade will feature firetrucks, carolers, marching bands, and floats by local businesses and organizations. Bundle up for an evening of festivities and fun with your loved ones.
