The Shortlist: What To Do in Boulder: 3/10 – 3/12

Happy Monday, Boulderites! This weekend we are embracing warmer weather and global culture. Enjoy music, dancing, and food from around the world this weekend in Boulder!

1. Beyond Sushi

Come rock n’ roll with the Food Lab for a night of Japanese cuisine this Friday. You will work alongside chefs to learn how to prepare miso broth, tuna tataki salad, shumai, and classic sushi favorites. By the end of this class, you’ll know how to prepare sushi like Nobu Matsuhisa. Start off your weekend with a fun culinary experience to add to your repertoire.

2. Boulder2Nablus Delegation Illumination Celebration

Delegates from our great city of Boulder, CO will be heading to Nablus, Palestine to launch a cultural and educational exchange between the sister cities. Boulder’s delegates will be comprised of teachers, medical professionals, artists, and other amazing volunteers. To honor this journey, the organization will be hosting a fundraising event this Saturday night at Odd Fellows Hall on Pearl Street. The Delegation Illumination Celebration will showcase the Middle-eastern culture to shed light on the new partnership between Boulder and Nablus.

3. The World’s Shortest St. Patrick’s Day Parade

It’s never too early to start the St. Paddy’s celebration. Head over to Boulder’s only Irish pub, Conor O’Neill’s, on Sunday at noon for the short but sweet parade between Spruce and Walnut on 13th Street. The celebration will wrap up at Conor O’Neill’s with tasty food, live music, and cold beer.
