The Shortlist: What To Do In Boulder: July 1-4
Happy Fourth of July weekend, Boulderites! I’m sure you all love long weekends just as much as we do! This weekend is all about celebrating the land of the free, and the home of the brave. Boulder has a ton of patriotic activities lined up for us this year!
1. Star Spangled Celebration at Color Me Mine
All weekend long Color Me Mine is hosting a Star Spangled Celebration to honor our country through fun, patriotic activities. There will be face painting, yummy treats, and firework tile painting for only $3.00! This is a perfect family event to get kick off the holiday weekend. Click here for more information.
2. Star Spangled Splash at Boulder Reservoir
Head down to Boulder Reservoir Saturday-Monday for 3 days of fun hosted by Boulder Beer. With carnival rides and a beer garden, there will be fun for everyone! Additionally, the event will include live music, food, and hydro bikes and paddleboards! There will even be a Star Spangled Splash 5K & 10K run on Monday, the 4th! Click here for more information!
3. The Folsom Field Fireworks
Since the Fourth falls on a Monday this year, we get an nice long weekend to celebrate! Monday night at 8 PM there will be fireworks and live music with Ralphie at The University of Colorado’s Folsom Field. This is a tradition that dates back to 1941 – keep the spirit alive with your family and friends this year! The firework display with the Flatirons in the background is absolutely picturesque, you will not want to miss it! Admission is free – click here for more information!
