The Shortlist: What To Do In Boulder: September 2-4

Happy Tuesday, Boulderites! Just like that, we are wrapping up the Summer with Labor Day Weekend. While this is bitter, Boulder has a ton of activities on the calendar to make your long weekend as sweet as possible. Enjoy!

1. Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art, Art Stop

Saturdays in the Fall are for families. During September and October The Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art holds their weekly family Art Stop during the Boulder County Farmers Market. Stop by the front porch of the museum to create something beautiful and unique with your crew. The Art Stop and admission to the museum are always free during the Farmers Market.

2. The Boulder Creek Hometown Festival

In the way we start the Summer with The Boulder Creek Festival, we end it with The Boulder Creek Hometown Festival. Saturday, Sunday, and Monday will be filled with activities for all in Central Park. There will be live music in the Bandshell, food and drink tents, the Great Zucchini Race, and the Hometown Fest 5k race! Additionally, the EXPAND Duck Race is scheduled to take place since it was cancelled during The Boulder Creek Festival to creek conditions. Admission is free!

3. Monday Night Wine Dinner at Frasca

Monday is the new Sunday! Well, maybe just this weekend. Frasca Food & Wine is celebrating Labor Day by creating a beautiful dining experience. Guests will enjoy a handpicked flight of wine to pair with dinner. Reservations begin at 5:30 for the $50 prix fixe four-course menu. Indulge before the Summer is over!
