What, rain again? It’s real, Boulder, so go ahead and don your raincoats for the upcoming weekend. Because why should Mother Nature stop us from our weekend fun? Here’s three things to do in Boulder County for the upcoming weekend!
1. Longmont Relay for Life – Friday at 6pm

Relay for Life is one of those huge organizations that actually makes a dent into the huge demand for additional cancer research funding. So far, the Longmont event has already raised 25k, and there’s still time to sign up. Visit the website for more information and to support a good cause!
2. Hanuman Festival – all weekend long

Combining yoga, music, sunshine (if the skies comply) and the huge community of Boulder, the Hanuman Festival promises to be the yoga event of the summer. The festival enters into its 5th year in 2015. Go for the yoga superstar teachers, stay for the inspirational talks and music. For tickets and more information, visit the website.
3. Ansel Adams: Masterworks at Foothills Arts Center

If the rain does fall on our metaphorical parade this weekend, head to the Foothills Art Center to appreciate natural beauty while also appreciating being indoors. Ansel Adams’ masterworks, drawn from the Turtle Bay Exploration Center’s California-based collection, emphasize the splendor of the Sierra Nevada, Yosemite Valley and New Mexico environments.
Additionally, a historical look at mountaineering photography will be shown alongside the Adams works. The exhibit is offered at special admission prices; $12 non member adults. For more info on the exhibit, click here.
