Nothing says the Colorado like Lyons, just a mere ten miles away from downtown, Boulder. The quaint little town is the quintessential Western town with some sweet and cozy vibes emanating from all of the shop-fronts. The Giant Pumpkin Contest in Longmont
Halloween is closer than you think, so it’s the perfect time to grab the best pumpkin, all the while you can also go watch the incredible “Giant Pumpkin Contest” at The Flower Bin in Longmont! You can even participate in it, too! First place gets a hefty five-hundred dollars, prize money. If you want to be around for the final weigh in, make sure you get there on Saturday by 12; we hear that the pumpkins are more massive than ever!

4th Annual Wine and Art Event
Looking to wind down a little this Sunday? Look no further than the 4th Annual Wine and Art event in Lafayette! Head to the Lionsgate Event Center to listen to a riveting speech given by the Boulder High School Class President, followed by a catered dinner, wine and beer tastings (provided by Hazel’s Beverage World) and some great tunes. There will be an auction for those of you who are in the mood to buy, there’s even a 7-day polar bear expedition in Canada up for sale! All proceeds will be given to The Mother House.
