The heat of summer is back and it’s making me thirsty. Here’s a few boozy ways to kick back this weekend, after—of course—you enjoy all the great outdoors has to offer in these parts. TGIF, Boulder!

1. IPA Lovers, Rejoice! The JUL-IPA Festival on Saturday

Jul.IPA.2015

Nothing like kicking back some hops while benefitting a good cause! The JUL-IPA Festival takes place from 11am-4pm at the Millenium Harvest House in Boulder, and features brews from over 35 breweries. Not an IPA lover? There’s cider and experimental brews to be had as well, not to mention the games and good times. Tickets are $30 ahead of time and $35 at the door. Click here for more information.

2. For the fancier drinkers: Veuve Clicquot’s National Tour

Clicquot en Route, the national party tour that brings champagne instead of brewskis will be trucking through Colorado this weekend. Find them Friday, July 17 at Acorn (run by Boulder’s OAK) in Denver, where barbeque and bubbles will be the name of the game from 5:30-10pm. Music will be provided by 6 Million Dollar Band; but be warned—fancy champagne is a little pricey. The event costs $25-100 depending on how much you drink.

On July 19, they’ll move on to Ajax Tavern at the Little Nell in Aspen. For more info about either event, click here.

3. Get out there and have some fun!

This is one of those weekends where you really feel that summer spirit. Throw a barbeque. Go to a yard sale. Enjoy a hike.

Whatever you do, go have some fun, Boulder!
